I am a Ph.D. candidate (expected 2019) working within the Computational Mechanics Research Group at University of California, Davis. I completed my bachelors with major in Hydraulic Engineering at Tsinghua University. I am currently a member of the Geotechnical Graduate Student Society at UC Davis and a student member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

My research focuses on the study of nonlinear effects in soil structure interaction system under earthquake loading, from the perspective of seismic energy propagation and dissipation. The majority of my work is related to the development, verification, and application of the MS ESSI Simulator (also known as the Real ESSI Simulator).
