I am a Ph.D. candidate (graduating in September 2019) working within the Computational Mechanics Research Group at the University of California, Davis. I completed my bachelors in Hydraulic Engineering at Tsinghua University. I am currently a member of the Geotechnical Graduate Student Society at UC Davis and a student member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
Primary research interests are related to the modeling and simulation of static/dynamic inelastic behavior of engineering solids and structures. Focus is on the development and application of a computational framework for high performance, time domain, nonlinear/inelastic, deterministic or probabilistic, multidimensional, finite element modeling and simulation. One particular interest is the propagation and dissipation of seismic wave energy during earthquake soil structure interaction. Developed analysis framework, along with extensive verification and illustrative examples, is part of the Real-ESSI / MS-ESSI Simulator System.
